Text Box: What is an Acorn Fund?
An Acorn Fund is a seed that, with nurturing and time, grows into a much larger, permanent fund.  The Acorn Fund gives individuals, families, and organizations a simple and flexible way to build an endowment fund with the Community Foundation of the Quincy Area.

Although there is a $5,000 minimum to establish a permanent endowment fund, an Acorn Fund can be started with as little as $1,000.  The fund’s founders have up to five years to make periodic contributions, developing it into a named endowment fund.
