Text Box:

What is an Acorn Fund?
An Acorn Fund is a seed that, with nurturing and time, grows into a much larger, endowment fund. The Acorn Fund gives individuals, families, and organizations a simple and flexible way to build a named endowment fund with the Community Foundation of the Quincy Area.

An Acorn Fund can be started with as little as $1,000. The fund’s founders have up to five years to make periodic contributions, to meet the required amount thus establishing it as a named endowment fund. After that is reached, the fund provides a permanent source of grant support for the donor’s charitable intent.
