Apply for a Grant Online

The goal of your Community Foundation is to strengthen our communities by supporting needs and opportunities in arts and culture, community betterment, education, health, and human services. Grant requests are accepted from nonprofit organizations that are recognized as exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the IRS Code and units of government. Applicant organizations must serve at least one of the following 12 counties: Adams, Brown, Hancock, and Pike in Illinois, Clark, Lewis, Marion, Ralls, Pike, Knox, Shelby, and Monroe in Missouri.

Submitting your grant request online is easy:

  1. Access the online grant application system at this link.
  2. Enter the primary grant contact’s email address and password. For password information, please contact the Community Foundation, or use the forgot password link.
  3. Login.
  4. Click Apply on the left hand menu.

Applications are reviewed and evaluated by the Grants Committee comprised of Board members and volunteers from the area. Applications will not be accepted from organizations that have not completed reports for previous grant funds received from the Community Foundation.
