Organizations that have not completed reports for previous grant funds received from the Community Foundation may not reapply until a report is received and approved.

Competitive Grants from Field of Interest Funds March 1 online June 1 online August 501(c)(3) or unit of government. Various purposes, interests, and geographic areas based upon donors’ charitable intent.
Raymond, Norbert, and Eleanor Rueter Fund Applications accepted online. Contact the Community Foundation for materials. Applications accepted on an ongoing basis Grants awarded on an ongoing basis Public and parochial schools or their foundations in Adams, Brown, Hancock and Pike counties in Illinois. Grants will assist with the cost of tutoring or specialized education primarily to improve reading and/or comprehension skills for students in kindergarten-twelfth grade. Other criteria as specified in application materials.
Mary Ridder Cherny Fund March 31 online. Application materials available here. June 1 online Early September Awarded to Quincy public or parochial schools for 6th-8th grade students to participate in the performing arts.
Samantha Otte Youth Opportunity Fund No application required, but may submit request letter online. Online request letter form available May 1. Not required but may submit request letter online by October 1 to Community Foundation. Early January 501(c)(3) organizations or units of government serving youth in artistic, leadership, and humanitarian efforts.
Communityworks Endowment Fund August online. Oct. 31 online By Dec. 15

501(c)(3) or unit of government programs and projects that align with the Community Foundation Impact Plan in early childhood education and/or workforce development.
